Before joining Alta, our new master chef, Joseph, was awarded 3 star Michelin status a mere two years after he took over as head chef of a famous Belgian Restaurant.
As a boutique resort, Alta Cebu Village Resort is artistically creative and unique. Scuba divers, Couples, families, backpackers, students and more….are drawn to the experience of living in a native-style village tucked inside a six-acre miniature rain forest.

To enhance the already good service from our staff of 75, our staff recently underwent intensive training from two accomplished experts: Maarten Gerlach (pictured at left), a PUM Netherlands Senior Experts who graduated from the Swiss Hotel School Lucerne, Switzerland. Maartin was also a former Lecturer at University of Hospitality Management Hotel School, The Hague. In the kitchen we were advised by a Belgian executive chef, Joseph Wuyth.
